Dalit girl gang raped and murdered in Rajasthan, two constables accused, SP suspended

The case of the death of a Dalit girl studying under suspicious circumstances at Bikaner Khajuwala Coaching in Rajasthan has caught fire. Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam and Additional Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar have been camping in Khajuwala since they got information about the incident.

At the same time as the police were talking to family members to conduct an autopsy on the dead body, the matter took a turn for the worse. Family members and residents of Mandi started protesting demanding the arrest of the named accused.Then the FSL team also arrived at the site. The police again asked the family members to conduct the girl's post-mortem. Police said the post-mortem of the dead body will be conducted in the presence of a female doctor.

On Tuesday morning, as soon as the dead body came to the fore on the 100-feet road outside New Dhanmandi, the police reached the spot. The girl was taken to the hospital. After the death of the girl, the police kept the dead body in the mortuary and informed the higher officials. Bikaner SP Tejaswani Gautam and Additional SP Deepak Kumar immediately reached the spot and took stock of the incident. Relatives filed a request to initiate criminal prosecution against the named accused.

When SP Deepak Kumar spoke to the family members to conduct an autopsy on the girl's body at the Community Health Centre, they were distraught. The relatives insisted on the arrest of the first named accused. After a long debate at the hospital, the relatives reached the police station and shouted slogans in protest.

While arresting the accused, the family members said that first arrest the named accused, then they will conduct the post-mortem. The villagers staged a dharna on this demand. After a long time, Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam ordered the suspension of the two police officers named in the incident. The Superintendent of Police said that based on the nominee's application, constables Manoj Kumar and Bhagirath were suspended.

Before that, former parliamentary secretary Dr. Vishwanath Meghwal to meet the Superintendent of Police and demand a fair investigation. On the other hand, Disaster Management and Relief Minister Govindram Meghwal, who spoke to the Superintendent of Police over phone, ordered a fair investigation and strictest action against the culprits. The demonstration by the villagers continued at the police station until late at night.The Superintendent of Police said that an autopsy would be conducted by the Medical Board in the morning.
